Spoken English: Actually (adv)



The adverb 'actually' is much more common in spoken English than in Written English. 

Actually also means 'as a matter of fact,' 'absolutely,' really,'' genuinely.'
Examples
  • Actually, the team is in a good situation now. 
  • Actually, she is right. 
  • He is actually certain about that. 
  • People have to work hard, actually. 
  • They are actually right.
